just let the glow plugs heat for about 10 seconds... crank it for a couple seconds, and if it dosent start, hit them for a extra 5, and keep doing that.... thats even over doing the stock glowplug solinoid, they turn on for i think 10 seconds, and after that they cycle for maybe a second or two... ill have to check and make sure
thats crazy... you might have some glow plugs out... get a light tester, connect it to your positive, and un hook your plugs, and hit them with you light tester, and if the light turns on their good... your scaring me with how long you hold those plugs down ha

Mine takes 2 10 sec cycle with 7 brand new plugs. The 8th one was swollen so I just unplugged it.
corvairwild, try holding the accelerator to the floor, the owners manual says to do that below 32F.

Scary, huh??? 12-15 secs without block heater, and it starts nice. 8-10 with heater, starts better. They're 2 years old, not too many miles... Ug
