so, it has been awhile. Notice how long the seals last? I had an older model that anywhere from a few days to month or two, you could tell the seal was compromised. Trying to find a sealer that is dependable withour spending $400 on a commercial.

I LOVE my foodsaver. You've inspired me to possibly make another review. There are so many things you can do with this.

My brother works at a grocery store. They had a Christmas blow out sale on choice rib steak - $3.99/lb if you buy a whole rib but as an employee he got a 25% discount so rib steak for $3.00/lb. We bought two whole ribs and cut them into steaks and roasts then vacuum sealed them for freezing. You can really capitalize on sales with these by buying in bulk.

Thank you.  So nice seeing this demonstration from a "real" person as opposed to a commercial that makes everything look 100 times easier than they are. Now I know exactly what I will have with this product and exactly how to use it. :)
