Sorry people, but i'm not sure this shit is good for you. Not to mention it cant even really be called bread. And what's up with tattoos ? A prison chef ?
@karry299 ur kidding right? about 90 percent of all cooks have tattoos, its just normal in the industry. and what is bread exactly? flour, water, salt and leavening. same thing they have here
Arguing over the Internet is like racing in the special olympics, no matter who wins, they're still retarded.
And for the record, the bread is pretty damned tasty. Since the albumen in the eggs set up before the moisture has a chance to evaporate, you get really moist, buttery brioche.
I love when people feel the need to get really technical..... they cant just appreciate something cool that is different & outside the box. Thanks for posting!
@Doughnutchef you ask why? without people like the Voltaggio's, cooking would be so main stream.. this technique that El Bulli uses makes this a innovation, new, cuisine is always evolving so why not take it to the next step
@FlipSnipeZ Seriously man, this shit is innovation? Innovating is about making things BETTER, not worse. Do you seriously think that sponge-like crap will taste better than a regular loaf of bread?
@albertotensai oh heres another dumbass on youtube thinking winners on top chef cant cook. they worked for jose andres and the bread technique is from the dessert ktichens of El Bulli. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. so stfu and learn before you think you know what you're talking about.
@FlipSnipeZ I never said they can't cook, did I? Looks like your love for big names blinds you to the point of not even reading what you're criticizing. People like you, blind followers, are not worth my time. THINK with your own brain and then we'll talk.
@albertotensai you said they are not innovative, calling it shit, also, they are famous for a reason. obviously they know how to cook. you even changed the subject! YOU are the one who doesn't know what you're talking about. i know the culinary arts and chefs, techniques. more than you seeing how your last comment was completely worthless. dumbass
@FlipSnipeZ No, thanks, genius. Next thing you'd see me saying the Black Eyed Peas CAN sing! And they were so innovative and frikin' awsome at the superbowl! I mean, they've won like awards and stuff. Just like Mickey Voltaggio here.
@albertotensai You keep changing the subject because you know you're wrong. Seriously, from innovation and El Bulli to the Black Eyed Peas? Just leave..
@FlipSnipeZ Your inhability to listen to others is striking. Are you really not getting it? I'm telling you this microwave bread looks disgusting. You say it is not because you think everything that comes from a celebrity has to be good. But I'm trying to make you question this absurdity. I'm not saying Mickey here isn't a good cook. I just think this particular item is not innovating: it is NOT a better way of doing bread.
@albertotensai It's hard for me to listen to people when they refuse to understand. If something like this was served at El Bulli, best restaurant for years, then no shit it had to be great, and for you to say it looks disgusting, well thats your opinion, they are celebrities for multiple reasons so yes, since they have the skill, why wouldnt i respect them?
@FlipSnipeZ It looks disgusting to you because you compare it to normal everyday bread. He made a quick brioche sans the browned exterior. Brioche is naturally spongy and soft and what came out of that cup is exactly what you would see inside a loaf of brioche when you cut into it.
The guy wouldn't be awarded his Michelin star if this bread really is as disgusting as you think it is.
Love the tattoos, sooo wish these guys had a food network show so I could tune in daily or weekly. Such an idea. I bake and prefer the old way, however when it is hot out and we need a little something this would be great! Love forward thinking, thank you guys!!!
I suggest the "baker" just stick a hot dog in the cup with the mixture, then shove it on a stick after it's been nuked. At least the product will have some taste.
Interesting method, great for al a minute, but is it any tastier than a Twinkie? Calling it bread really is a stretch, and a bit insulting to bakers (who spend years developing their craft).
Gimme proper brioche with some fermentation and a GBD crust.
wow, i will have to try that. i really dislike alot of store bought bread, and i always mess up when i make bread from scratch...so this will be really helpful! 5/5
It is not good & healthy to have food even basic food like bread cooked inside microwave.

Brioche without the yeast is a sponge cake. It barely holds its shape, come on.

Is there a specific recipe for the quantities of the ingredients?
iornmonk 2 years ago
Wow, that looks like a lot of fun. It would be great to have a quick bread recipe you can make when you forgot to leave time for rising.
ONE QUESTION!
Can you make a big batch of the dough and make one or two "loaves" a day? Or do you have to use all the dough at once?
