it's just like anything else you get used to. after you spin like that for a long time, it just doesn't make you dizzy anymore. my scratch spin still makes me a little dizzy, but other than that, i can spin just fine without falling or being totally spaced. the only thing you really need to avoid is eating too soon before a practice, because i puked the first time i did lots of scratch spins in one practice...
