i put heat 2 my hair almost everyday too. n now my ends look like crap. what all did u use? how long did u go without heat? n how long did it take for u 2 grow ur hair back?
I made the same mistake to my hair and I bleached. Do you think no putting any heat in the hair and only washing it once a week will make it get thicker? My hairs naturally thick and curly (but im not biracial) and after bleaching its like wavyish and much more thinner!! how can I get it thicker?

my hair used to be super long but now its almost the length of when you were 17 and i cant wait 4 years more to get the length you have now (ow gosh )
I can so relate to this video, I am in the process of getting my hair back long again too. Them damn flat irons and blow dryers really do damage. Your hair looks great....
I'm working on it! :) everyday I condition it with conditioner & leave the conditioner in, and now gonna use coconut oil :) but I don't straighten my hair either bc it's natural and thin too
It's so crazy how much u look just like my best friend haha, but whenever u didn't straighten for months at a time, your ends were fine bc you kept them conditioned?
@Paigeloveyou5 yes I usually only cowashed my hair so it wasnt stripped and sometimes did oil DCs, or treated my ends with oils (Castor and Coconut oil vid)
@Paigeloveyou5 The first long period was 5 months of not using heat, then I trimmed (made the 1st straight hair update vid). After that, I only straighten to trim which is about every 3 months or whenever I feel my ends need love
@GodsChild88 I really didnt do anything special, just maintaining and not using heat or anything harmful, so I would imagine anyone could, but also I would think a relaxer is harsh on the hair
@KatwalkKutie oh ok. the original state of my hair is curly but i have been getting perms for a couple of years now, do you u think its possible for me to go back to that
@GodsChild88 yes alot of people transition and go back to natural, you can start caring for your natural hair and gradually trim away the relaxer, its a big commitment
Wow! Your a definite inspiration for me to keep going with my journey. Your hair is gorgeous! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the progress pictures.
i can def be a witness to the fact tht if you go long periods of time without straightening your hair it WILL GROW AND FOR ME THE TEXTURE WAS LOOSER....like after 2 or 3 days after washing my hair to the root would be straight(not pin straight but u kno, very loose wavy) and i hair type 3c hair
you are def an inspiration for me!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to grow my hair just like yours!
