Airedales do enjoy mouthing even as adults. Unfortunately, as you will know, puppies teeth are like needles. Try playing tug-o-war with an old pair of tights with knots tied in them. This helps when teething but DON'T leave the puppy unattended with the tights so he/she doesn't swallow/choke on them. Even at the age of 9 my young lady grabs my hand dead on 5pm and drags me into the kitchen to make her dinner!!!!
This reminds me of our three 'dales - with the exception that the one at the window here would be a giant (110 lb, "smallish" Oorang) and she would definitely be barking at something - a squirrel, a human, an ant, a blade of grass ... ANYTHING will do). Oh, one other difference, the tennis ball would already be in pieces.

Sorry to hear about your Welsh Terrier.I hope to have a Welsh in the next few weeks,mother due 19th and third on the list.When I was young we had an Airedale,god he was cute!I decided that an Airedale was to big this time round so we have gone Welsh.I hope the pain leaves you soon and only great memories remain,and maybe another Welsh.

@sweet06william When you Airedales were puppies did you ever glue thier ears to prevent mule ear? The Airedale breeder I bought from told me to do this untill the cartilage in the ears get the desired shape.

I love how these airedales have been choreographed to vigorously move in sync with this great music! Don't they ever get a moment's rest?

They are adorable! I just lost my Welsh Terrier after 15 yrs. He was the mini version of these guys! Cutest dogs in the world!!!
