I thought you didn't have to turn the grinding half of the machine in order to use the hydraulic pressing part of the machine...

@jellofast on my Norwalk there is only one switch for the power, which turns on the grinder as well. Actually the shoot that goes over the grinder must be properly attached in order for the machine to turn on (to protect you from cutting yourself), then the hydraulic press arm can be lifted.

Wow thats pretty nifty! maybe you could trim the left overs, dehydrate them and sprinkle some powdered sugar over it and add it to some trail mix or something.
