Hi, I had a question and I hope you can help....I have a red sony ereader touch and I've noticed a funny smell to it almost like firecrakers..does yours have such a smell or do you think there is something wrong with mine? Hope you can help..thanks.
I'm almost on the verge of buying a Sony E-Reader as well. My library supports online ebook loans, so that's great! (Can't do it with the Kindle).
My only hesitation is the price. I don't understand why Sony is charging over 30% more for the identical product in Canada????
The PS3 and most Sony products are identically priced in Canada and the US, but the Pocket reader is $259 in Canada vs $199 US, even though both dollars are practically equal and have been for some time.
I'm looking at getting one of these for school. Would you reccocmnd this for note taking in school? Can I print these notes I take after downloading with the software?
Notice how vivid and readable the pocket edition's screen is. With this video you can jump back and forth to compare the two editions. Clearly the pocket edition is far more readable. The touch edition's text is quite faded. Who wants fingerprints on the screen anyway?
I definitely agree that the readability problem although not as bad a you would think. However the touch does come with a stylus and there are people who perfer their fingers but it is a great reader with more overall features then the pocket edition
I'm curious about Google books, which are basically images of old printed books. If they are larger than the ebook screen, do they show up very tiny? Or can you zoom in on parts of the page and scroll around? How does it work? Have you actually tried it?
that's freakin' awesome..

I am thinking to buy one too. In Europe the prices are higher so i will probably buy it from an american store.
Does anybody knows if the Sony PRS-600 Touch Edition supports Greek language?
