@RacerX1111 To answer all 3 questions, it was because when we were kids watching this show, we just did not want to see Batman do the simple thing, but we wanted to see what gadget or device he had about in his utility belt to save the day. Great point in question 2, that would be the logical thing, but Batman was not about logic, it was about fun.

This happened to me last week. Always take your car remote with you when you think you'll be strapped to a catapult. Make sure the car has a Net that automatically comes out of the trunk as well.
