I just started shotokan this year, I'm an orange belt, so I only no Shodan and Nidan so far, havn't learned Heian Sandan yet.

@jikan3 keep it up, keep working hard and perfect both of those, especially Shodan.  If you can master shodan you can master any of them :)

I only go to karate 2 times a week and im trying to learn godan from this but it is hard i cant do that hand thing in the start

johnsonsean434, I don't think it's a good idea to learn Kata from a video clip. It can not replace a good instructor who will guide you through Kata elements step by step, explain to you the meaning (Bunkai) of each technique, and fix the mistakes you're inevitably going to make in the beginning and can not see them yourself. Once you have a basic grip on a Kata, it's a very good idea to watch great masters like this performing it, and try to improve your own performance. Keep going, good luck.

some of you don't know whothis sensei is. He is the Samarai"ABE SENSEI" One of the top teachers.He has taught many, such as Yahara Sensei,Kagawa Sensei and many more.

Nice, I think there should be a couple of Ashi-barrai's at the end there though (the foot should move across from Kokutsu-dachi into Zenkutsu-dachi) but maybe this is a slightly different style to mine.

I performed this kata at an in-school tournament. At the last move, I lost my balance from a previous injury. That was the end of that, got second.

you asshole; the very fact that he can do it slow Gandagon , AND still remember the steps shows his very level of mastery. If you're to slow to understand that, that means that if he wanted to he could do it so fast that you probably wouldn't be able to see his movements. He's doing it slow so that people viewing this video would learn how to perform this particular kata.
