@Booztd3 Is this turbo the same that is listed on full race webpage? (S300sx) I am undecided between this and the pt6766 with the cea wheel... my z will be rb powered very soon.
@sathan503 - The noise you're hearing is the wastegates opening. They vent to atmosphere so things get real loud. "Better" is a relative term. You can make great power on a VG, you can make great power on an RB. They both cost money to build and build right. The RB in my opinion is way easier to work on, but theres an added expense in transitioning over to that setup
@irishboxer92 - Twin turbo setups are much more complicated - more piping, more everything (more expense.) You're still going to have a tradeoff either way. Twins are going to offer better power down low but you're still not going to make the numbers I have with a quick spooling twin turbo setup

Ok lets just say way too many filler rods..I wont call it slag but a ball of barely held on metal that decided to let go and kill my car.Machine shop checked all of the valve guides,ports etc and found nothing....I re-welded hot side bought a new head and had surfaced and line bored and assembled and sold the car to a guy in PA(made 556whp on 93). I just used the link on Nicoclub..nice car. I was making 640whp and a piece of slag from my crash course in tig welding killed #6 and the head lol. Its going back in within the next few weeks. Ive been watching your build for a long time now..great job.
@RB26N98KOUKI how is that possible? you know the turbine/manifold/exhaust is all separate from the compressor/cold side right? theres no way any "slag" could make it to the throttle body. not to mention "slag" cant pass thru the intercooler core. i love seeing comments from 13yr old kids talking bullshit on youtube videos. i just sit back and laugh at how stupid you sound.
@STiTypeUK Have you ever seen different size pieces of slag? Thought so!! There were multiple pieces laying in the intercooler and I can send you the pictures of the piece that messed my rb26 up. I have a video here on youtube plus like I said before,you can google rb26n98kouki and see my entire photobucket....its WAS slag whether you want to play mechanic this is not up for debate Im TELLING you it was. @bagato - I wouldnt even compare them. The GT42 is not a street friendly turbo for under 3L. This BW is much more responsive
