What is this? Why wasn't the option to get rid of the knife after you stab the dude or after you watched the fight?? Throwing the knife away after a crime is probably more logical than this!

Carrying a knife is against the law, whatever kind of knife it is, for whatever reason, it is against the law. There is a high likelihood that we will find you during our stop and search operations, and when we do you must expect to be prosecuted and out of that you must expect a very serious custodial sentence.

So is this saying, it's OK to take a knife out with you to a fight, as long as you din't use it and throw it in a public bin accessable by anyone; but it's not OK to take a knife with you to a fight, don't use it and keep it on your possesion?
