Now when I go to the youtube homepage there's all these things telling me what youtube videos the people in my circles from google+ shared on google+... Moreover, when I click 'subscriptions' on the left bar of YOUTUBE it shows the same thing - what circled people shared videos on google+... I did not subscribe to these people on youtube!! And there is no way to opt out from google+ notifs on youtube.. WTF?

Also - try not to login to your google account via web (or if you have to - use private mode tabs), use separate accounts for youtube and google, use desktop email client to connect to your gmail instead of web page.
