  • You can see that bruce is loving it. Sweden is the place to be i tell ya

  • Ok has someone a time machine?

I am really in love with this man,he has all to me.

I wish would have born 40 years before

  • so....anyone has a time machine?

  • lol sharing fantasies

  • te amo ETERNAMENTE............

  • Bruce was covering this song before anyone ever heard of Status Quo. Quos rendition is weak compare to this.

  • @hardragsutfol don't think so, John Fogerty's released this song in 1975, Status Quo in 1977. Next to that Status Quo had their first hit in 1968 so yeah some people already have heard of them at that time.

  • @hardragsutfol quo used to be huge in europe from the late 60's onwards

  • hihi just turned 18

  • hmz i am ur girl

  • Sorry kid ---he could not carry a tune in a paper bag if he was given the bag ...the only reason that columbia carried him for 3 albums was that the kids were buying the noise....and most were stone deaf at the time......grant you he can write and his backup people are great but please, please let others sing his work .....and ...the quo do a much better job of this song!!

My opinion...... after following music for 55 years !!

  • @summermanable You're taking it all too seriously. When Bruce does these 'covers' at his concerts its the party part, to remind you what fun live music and dancing can be. Alot of his songs are actually quite dark and meaningful and resonate with a worldwide audience for that reason. Have you seen him live? It s a great experience, you come away rejuvenated. I suspect Columbia are quite happy with their signing and a few more of us around the world are too.

  • john rules :-) what a rock song he wrote...

  • he still can't sing !!!!!

  • @summermanable You can define, "singing" on a way that makes that true if you like. By such a definition, there's probably half a dozen guys in every high school performance of a Rogers and Hammerstein musical with "prettier" voices.

Why do you suppose he's still rocking all over the world 40 years after signing a contract for 3 albums with Columbia Records in 1972? *NO ONE* has performed at his consistent level excellence, writing songs, in the studio, and in concert over the past 4 decades.

  • ha i can bend to your needs, just talk to me and tell me what you want

  • Bruce was covering this song in the 70's. He first did it on the E Street Band's first European tour in 1975. Status Quo my butt....

  • I'm not sure he's got the words right... but it's good to see Bruce doing such a great Fogarty song. Still, I like the Quo version better.

  • @dewolfm Status Quo is a great cover band, for sure. They play this every show and I'm sure Mr. Fogerty appreciates the royalties.

I've seen Bruce 59 times and never seen him play it, except here, on YouTube.

He's a huge John Fogerty fan & has covered, Travelin' Band, Bad Moon Rising, and played with John on Fortunate Son, Centerfield, and others on the Vote For Change tour in October, 2004.

Bruce ain't no cover act. He has 350 songs, about 50 classics, and can only play 25 or so a night.

  • Coooooooool

  • The Quo version is much better

  • @JotheBytle dont insult the boss

  • @JotheBytle

Boss eats Quo for breakfast! That's the New Jersey diet!

  • @JotheBytle Agree..

  • @JotheBytle The Boss rules. Don't ever forget

  • No one can fuck this song up. Quo, The Boss and certainly not the greatest of them all and the genius behind this gem - John Fogerty.

  • Bruce is KING !!!

  • I think the Boss doesn't know the words to his pal Fogerty's song.

  • Why is everyone doing a comparison to the Status Quo version even though it's not their original, and this version is done Live and out of the John Fogerty "setup".

Every single version of this song is awesome!

  • ah, not nearly as good as Quo's cover but thank god he's better than Bon Jovi...

  • I think we've established he doesn't wanna go home. Lol :)

  • There's a good chance Springsteen never even thought about Quo's version when he decided to cover this. He's friends with Fogerty and was most likely infuenced by Fogerty's original version.

  • hihì_pásst_hîèr_net_rêîñ_àbâ_ich_bîn_sõ_èínsãm_wîll_jëmáñd_mit_mìä_schrêíbëñ

  • fuckin' amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good. Not the quo, not by a long shot, but very good, and certainly better than that Bon jovi wreck

  • Damn, he killed this song.

  • @joebandoe I agree and he messed up the words to,its just terrible to hear.John Fogerty is the ma,Bruce maybe the Boss to his fans,But Fogerty is the Daddy of Rock n Roll IMHO

  • ilike bon jovi vesion

  • Just another reason to be a John C. Fogerty Fan.

Great Cover by The Boss :-))

  • Status Quo's is definitely the best.

  • I like Springsteen. But please, leave this to Status Quo. They invented rock.

  • @SAMMYTHOMAS Springsteen saved rock from disco in the 70's..

  • @SAMMYTHOMAS

Yeah, but Fogerty wrote and Quo over-engineered it when the charted with it. Fogerty's version on the Premonition Album is one of the best.

  • @SAMMYTHOMAS Oh for pete's sake. How would they have done with the song if John Fogerty hadn't written it? Status quo is a cover band, right? Fogerty had written 50 rock classics. Springsteen, at least a 100.

Has Status Quo written even one?

  • This version is good.

John Fogerty's version is the best version.

  • TheQuo's version is THE very best!!!

  • @cablonde320 I'm with you, This has NO comparison to Status Quo, What he is doing is close to murder

  • Il Boss è sempre il Boss, anche quando suona quelle degli altri, unico.

  • better than the Bon Jovi cover, but still. this is the quo, and always will be. I'm a huge fan, Bruce, but this isn't for you.

  • Status quo sucks....Bruce and J.C Fogerty....they're rocking...and they do it all over the world!!!!

  • @Lorenzo84no then freakin tell why they suck it tells me enough that bruce is playing this iff you dont like the quo then why are ya listening to this song?

  • @Lorenzo84no Quo OWN this song even if it is Fogerty's. Springsteen should have left it alone.....PLEASE!

  • @bkpenta You said it, this is a SHIT version of Status Qou's most famous Song

  • @Andi090386 Right on brother!!............

  • hold have left it to Status Quo!

  • The very big Boss

  • I was there. I were pregnant. The next time he comes to Sweden I'm gonna take my now 13 year old daughter to see him for the first (2nd ;)) time and the 10th time for me. The. Man. Is. Messias.

  • @biffoxen a long since you wrote. did you go 'til then to a concert of 'the boss'?

  • fantastic!! the boss!!
