A shame old timers abandoned the band's fan base (assisting to shows and buying their albums) after listening OOALH (ONE SONG!!) w/out giving the other great songs from that album the opportunity to grow in them. And dismissing completely the musical genius of T. Rabin's other works w/yes. Me, a post 80s fan, who was familiar with their earlier stuff (from my parents and bros), but was only old enough to see YES w/ the B.G. tour at 10, feel lucky to have witnessed this era
Trevor breathed new creative life & fires into Yes when they were bereft of ideas & had run their course at the time..& not just with pop/rock as many people erroneously think. Songs like "Endless Dream:, "Shoot High Aim Low", "Miracle Of Life", all of the album, "Talk"..are so innovative, imaginative, artistic, expressive & inspiring. He can write and play nearly every style of music, classical, World, jazz, bluegrass, soul, funk, R&B, etc. with grace, taste, & endless artistry & talent.
Trevor revitallzed Yes. and he is an awesome guitar player. The Talk Tour may be the most under-rated Yes tour. I saw them twice on this tour and it was great.
@MrYeshead I totally agree with you. Trevor is awesome & a talented genius with his every undertaking. The man cannot even be compared to anyone. Don't you think some people should do some research before even making such assinine declarations? Trevor is always under-rated. His performances are breath taking. Just listening to the musician is such a pleasure. Looking forward to something new from Trevor. Peace....(RIP John Lennon)
@DJMADZACK I wholeheartedly agree with you & MrYesHead. The amount of artistry & otherworldly creative talent flowing from Trevor is amazing. People who as you say don't know about Trevor (and alot of press & information out there only talks about him as a guitarist)..As a multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, singer, producer, arranger, engineer..he's won countless ASCAP, BMI & other awards, wrote Yes's only number one song, wrote their only Grammy winning song...
@MrYeshead Very true. It was magical. The music from that album is one of their best ever. YES, I said it: TALK BELONGS IN THE SAME LEAGUE OF THEIR MASTERPIECES BECAUSE IS A MASTERPIECE ITSELF.
@CentralScrutinizerxx I've hated him ever since I saw Yes on the Union tour. During Yours Is No Disgrace, he cut in on Steve Howe's (that's STEVE HOWE) guitar solo.
Wishing Trevor (if he goes on YouTube) and his family a Very Merry Christmas & healthy Happy New Year filled with peace, light, joy, inspiration, music, & Blessings! Thank you for your wonderful gift of music & artistry that you continually grace us with and that continually inspires us with your idealism, hope, purpose, positivity, & light and that makes everyday so wonderful & full of joy!!!! Happy Holidays Trevor!!!! Arlene :D
one of the best guitarists i ever seen(lots) , clean and quick, never misses, yes grabbed him as the golden boy of south africa, and never disappointed. sometimes seems to go faster than humanly possible, and clean. Only other Ive seen is Al Dimeola this naturally gifted with this instrument. Bravo Trevor Bravo
Trevor and Steve are two totally two diff styles, HOWE can you compare. By the looks of all the sold out shows in the 80's and early 90's his era of Yes did rather well!
Trevor is just too big to play in Yes....great guitar player song writer

@CentralScrutinizerxx That's your opinion. Trevor has his own style. You can't really compare him to Vai or Malmsteen or Howe as many people do.
