Full Tilt Poker today announced on their facebook fansite that a new player can now head on over to their website, then sign up for an account with the bonus code SPECIALS.
Its a sweet promotional deal. Make a deposit and they DOUBLE it plus a couple other amazing perks. Its only going work for the first 4000 people that register using this
The major bracelet owners, such as Chan, Hellmuth, Brunson, are going to be on their bracelets for a long time to come.
The tournaments have become too huge and EVERYONE has read Super System or the equivalanet., the times of Superstars are no more. The times of random winners like Moneymaker and Jamie gold will be the norm.
When will we see a real established pro like Hellmuth win? That's the philosophical argument for the ages.
By the way, there were over 2,500 players in this event. And he made the final 45 players in the 2008 Main Event which had over 6,000 players I think. So he will win a few more.
A) Wow you fuckrn idiot.. First he's more boring than the rest which gives him the stronger mentallity to play his whole life a game as simple as ' tic-tac-toe ' wasting thousanfs of HOURS. Also he's mostly playing bums which go to Vegas on hopes and dreams, lightning hopefully striked them and they win the lotto. This game is this guy's job fulltime he has an advantage. fucken idiot...
B) You dont need to make final tables to win just place in the money and you already ahead. Do some math idiot. He also plays cash games which means another source of income and not only from tournaments = more buy ins. fucken idiot...
C) Chris Moneymaker blew his load on online gambling, other than poker, and spending money hand over fist on 'living the big life'. He's just another millionare gone broke in a year or so. So comparing him to Helmuth is rediculous. Point 'C' is worthless. fucken moron....
D) its fucken hilarious you can go from A-D wothout skipping letters and tripping over yourself! its fucen Hilarious I think you are indeed very intellectual !
Not every pro would want to win 11 bracelets at the expense of living a boring as life. fucken idiot... I think im done pwning you stupid ass now. Nuff said . HAHAHAHAHA
Jesus fuck, you're stupid. Are you serious with this post? First off, you gotta be fucking kidding me with the grammar and spelling of your fucking post. Did you graduate 6th grade mother-fucker? You write like an illiterate fuck. It's like the only thing you've read in your life is Myspace messages and the lyrics to the "Thong song," you fucking retard.... continued in email.
E) ADDENDUM: Chris Moneymaker couldn't keep up a big roll to HAVE AN ATTEMPT to make a run at Phil's numbers. Not everybody, even when they have a big roll to spend, can keep up that roll to make a run at Phil's numbers. Having a big bank roll doesn't necessarily mean you'll reach Phil numbers, idiot.
A)Wow, you're an idiot. If anybody can do that with his bank account? Then why is he, or only a select few, doing it, out of a multitude of pros with an equivalent bank account? Why is he the only one that holds these records in the WSOP, given that there is a lot of pros out there with an equivalent bank roll. Secondly, a lot of the pros built up their bank rolls with poker as their main source of income. Let's see you build up a big bank roll with poker as your main source of income....
B)which would allow you to play a lot of tournaments to make a few final tables. And, even if your argument is true that having a big bank roll will allow you to make a FEW final tables; having a big bank roll to make a FEW final tables doesn't necessarily mean you'd, then, win 11 bracelets or cash consistently enough to make a profit. It could be the case that you'd make a few final tables; but, at the expense of driving your bank roll down....
C)to such a degree where you could no longer make a living playing poker. Look at Chris Moneymaker. The guy received a roll that allowed him to play several tournaments; but, he only has a few cashes and only 1 final table appearance at the WPT since his WSOP win. He can't sustain a full career playing poker. He can't keep up his roll, which would allow him to attempt to reach Phil Hellmuth levels, even when he had a big bank roll to start out with, which was more than most of....
D)the pros started out with. And, so what, if he plays a low 1,500 buy in? Phil had to wade through 2500 players to win the tourney; that's not a simple task, you fucking idiot. I think I'm done intellectually pwning your dumb-ass. You're one dumb mother-fucker. It's fucking hilarious.
Phil Hellmuth is no doubt the best player in the world, not because he's lucky, but because he has the skill and fearlessness to outplay everybody and anybody. He's Ivey, Chan, Doyle, JC Tran all rolled up into one..god bless him.
Phil Hellmuth might be the best Hold Em-tournament player in the world. He has not done anything remarkable in cash-games, and have very limited success in poker-games other than Hold Em, so I really dont see how you can say hes the best poker player in the world.
He is no doubt the best wsop player that has ever been. Brunson and Chan are legends but this guy has consistently cashed and won bracelets in fields that make brunsons wins look like stt victories. Forget his self promotion and trash talk this guy has the results to back his patter up

The guy plays in all the low buy-ins there is which also improves his chances. Just like all the pros. Cause they have the bank account to do that.
If I had a million like Phill obvisouly I would make a few final tables over the yrs. Common guys dont be such suckers.
