Nelson Mandella slept less than 5 hours a night, and had a horrible family life because it was more important to him to fight for freedom than be happy and spend time with his family. Thank God we have the people that are willing to give up their personal happiness and put the higher purpose before what others say is truly important. What's important depends on your own principles.

I love the attitude and understand that this does make people gain motivation but this isn't always the best route to live life. Giving up everything just for SUCCESS and money? You may become successful but that doesn't mean you'll be the happiest person. Some people lose track of whats important in life and all they care about is making money.

You can be successful while doing a multitude of other things like partying, texting, watching TV, and sleeping.

Guys by giving up sleep is saying that time you sleep you could be getting better than others more successful because you only need a certain amount time to rest and you continue to sleep extra. I love that part because i use to sleep more than 10 hours and now i get and run workout and shower before school starts and sometimes i take 30 mins Naps so i dont sleep as much at night...I have been getting stronger.

Sounds good on paper, but when you apply it to the real world test it falls under "easier said than done" the real world test will show you other wise. It's important not to get caught up into positive delusional thinking. The fact of the matter is if you stay up for three days straight with no food not just will you hurt yourself but you'll probably still fail while damaging yourself emotionally and physically because of your high expectations and unnecessary pressure you're putting yourself.
