I've played a version of this game in a museum in Berlin, but it seems they have reduced the initial amount of current (I assume it's a constant-current source since if it was a voltage source the current would depend on skin resistance). Also in the newer version, the game will be over as soon as you take your hand off the contacts. You won't be allowed to pull them off and place them back again. Shock intensity will also increase every time you let the ball through in the newer version.
The Pain Station one game can make you left handed what all ready left handed then you got nothing to loose*
*except a hand... pain station is not responsible for loss of limbs
