The mummy of Hatshepsut"s father, Thutmoses the 1st, once had coarse wooly hair. There is a published photo of it in a 1930s book To see that and more pictorial evidence on blacks in Ancient Egyypt. Look at "Black Ancient Egypt; Truth Behind the Stoon SEE MY UPLOADS for more ne part 1-2
Man can you imagine what it was like if you were Howard Carter. Being the one to discover king Tut and his royal tomb and all seeing all him and all his stuff for the first time in millenia. =)
Oh, ok, I thought you were there in 2007 because the video was uploaded on February 4th 2007...yes, I knew that it was allowed until 2005 to make pics without flash in the museum. I was one and a half years too late.
I had the pleasure of seeing King Tut exhibit when it came to the States - I will be in Cairo next month and look forward to seeing it again. I heard you can film but no flash.
I whent to egypt last yr and whent to the museum and it was so BIG and had so much to see it was impossible to see it all in the two hours we had in there! The 'King Tut' section was amazing a must see for ne1!!!
I agree, it was sooo big and I wanted to explore it all but we had only 1 hour and we had to hurry all the time, because we also wanted to see the royal mummy room.
I love being egyptian!

How did you manage to do this video insid the museum although it´s not allowed? Did you have special permission?
GeileSexyZeiten 2 years ago
It was allowed when I went, but flash photography was not. Valley of the Kings didn't allow photos or videos when I went...

Wow! I was there in September 2006, and there was absolutely no photo (flash and no flash) and video allowed, no way for both of it!
Now I´m so jelaous on you, cuz I didn´t have the chance to take some nice pics from the objects I liked the most...
But it´s really interesting that you were allowed to make pics with no flash in the museum, maybe they changed the rules...
But Valley of Kings was the same during my visit too...

We were there in 2004...

How did you film this?? We were'nt aloud to even take our cameras with us! :S so unfair!
mGrey89 2 years ago
When I went it was only the room with the mummies where you couldn't film or take photos. Everywhere else was OK but no flash allowed...
carpclubspain 2 years ago
We were not allowed to take our cellphones or cameras in the museum when we were there :/ We had to leave them in the bus. that sucked :/
mGrey89 2 years ago
Why dont they let you take cameras in? is it just because they want people to go there themselves or what?
xXxJandAxXx 2 years ago
@xXxJandAxXx no, some of the artifacts can be damaged by direct exposure to light & they are just being cautious to protect those precious artifacts
