Through the years I've had 5 dobermans, and now I am getting another one. They're so funny, loving and loyal. I wouldn't even pick another breed. He's beautiful :)
@Vinnygil Yeah I'll try and post more videos later, He has just turned one year and loves to pull me around on a skateboard, kinda trial an error on the training so far, he likes to push his limits and my temper some days ,, like peeing on my bed lol.
@RETICS1 ya we have a pitbull and he has a very similar personality to this dog, maybe not peeing on the bed but peeing when he knows he did something wrong, he outgrew that and we have him now where he will seek to obey, but i didn't train him my brother in law did while they were in alaska so i never got to see how its done.
@NOnameFTWW Yes; chances are high for ear injury, ear mites, and yeast infections. Hope that helped. All our Dobermans and Boxers were Cropped and Docked to standard.
Oh no,, nails are trimmed he is fine, I do it myself, when he walks his nails dont even touch the floor , they are very affectionate and need lots of loving or they will get destructive an tear up the carpet like mine did lol. Shedding is no problem, hardly anything. best choice is the european dobermans,, darker rick rust ,, less health problems,, that is what he is, they also get bigger,, north american dobermans are skinny pretty dobermans
I am thinking about getting a doberman but I just bought a new house. I am worried that he will scratch the hard wood floors and shed everywhere. Do you notice any marks on the floors? And how is the shedding situation?

still undecided whether cropped ears or not. i honestly dont mind either but are chances high for ear infections or ear problems without cropping?

@Turbodsm99 for all i know these guys barely shed as they only have 1 coat. but for the floors .. no idea.
