Phil Ochs was amazing, I've only recently got into his material but what I've heard should be put down into the 100 greatest songs of all time (and pretty damn high in the ranks as well).

It's hard to know where to start with Sarah Palin, the most frequent allegation is, of course, that she doesn't know her backside from her elbow, the other that she's supposedly a feminist but against many commonly acknowledged women's rights. All I can say is thank heavens the Democrats won.

Most of the criticism that I heard about Palin -- and I read newspapers, "all the ones that I can get my hands on" -- was directed at her lack of knowledge (jeez, she didn't even know who the P.M. of Canada was!!), and her duplicity about receiving earmarks. I've never heard another serious candidate complain about being asked questions (that they couldn't answer). BTW, as of last year, Alaska and Mississippi were the pork kings of the Union.
