I think that had marissa lived she would have been the love of ryan's life cos they would have hopefully grown up and matured however she died and while he loved her deeply there was too much drama for him to have ever know if they would have made it.

With taylor there was drama but there also seem to me more fun and laughter and in the end I believe she became the love of ryan's life.

i think that the fact that MARISSA day was ok... i mean all the plot line of the story was around Marissa... hello!... We see all that it has to do with Marissa, Les love, drugs

alcoholic, she was inlove with two guys at the same time, she trust in one crazy obsesive fellow, she was with the pool boy... i mean the only thing missing here with Marisa was becoming a wh**** or to drive Ryan to death with all the stupid things she did to him....
