This song has a time signature of 10/4 (ten beats per measure with each quarter note receiving one beat). This is unusual. Anyway, I love this version! Love the dancers and the kaleidoscope of dancing legs. Artistic to the max!
i have to say it was quite incredible being introduced and growing up with the dead, in the 80's and 90's thank GOD for one of the best bands in history!!:)
diggin the groove... was lookin for a version to post on a friend's blog... this one fits, for the song itself, for the sound quality, for the live footage... and... for your EXCELLENT blending in of the other bits of others (not at a dead show) dancing and playing!
I have So Far on laser disc. This video turned me into a Johnny come lately Dead head. Saw them my one and only time on their last tour in Seattle in May 1995! Talk about just under the wire! Jerry was gone three months later. Hope Jerry, Pigpen, Keith, Brent and Vince are jammin' somewhere in the hereafter!
during the most Raw moments of my adolescence i had rented this vhs tape every now and then, but the first time was a memory ill never forget. it was also the second time i smoked marijuana, which made everything so much cooler!
@rwk1983 I agree, he joined the bohemian club in 1988, he also got Mickey to join. If you do not know about the bohemian club or bohemian grove then look them up, it goes against everything the dead stood for so it came as a shocker to most heads when they found out Bobby had joined.
@AmanitaPersicina I just looked up the bohemian grove, its like illuminati. or skull and bones, or some kind of fraternity for the rich powerful and real ugly. The name fooled me, thereis nothing cool about the Bohemian Grove, its a beat you cant dance to unless you have fire burning your feet.
Amazing, amazing! I was born in '85 and my father was a huge dead head, he brought home this tape and I would crawl up the entertainment stand and play it over and over and over. The VHS had a blue label and before I could walk I would beg to watch blue music! This video brings back so many fond memories!

This is easy to dance to. You just have to get used to putting your foot down on the upbeat or the downbeat.

@AmanitaPersicina No wonder they pandered to the politicians last election. Jerry bowed out for good reason in 1995. Bless him.

@AmanitaPersicina One more thing, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan were members of the bohhemian club. I don't need to say more. It says it all.
