She says "I took the two diet drops under the sink, in the dirty area." That to me implies that Shaye found the bottle and thought it was diet drops, when in fact it's just dirty water from a leaky and possibly rusted sink.

Or maybe we're reading too much into it. Who knows?

@BratzBoyMax the bottle has a stopper, so it's not liquid that leaked under there. i think 'dirty part of the sink' implies that it's cleaning supplies, perhaps vinegar, or something similar - something someone would intentionally stick under the sink, and then forget about.
