We had a truck demolition derby a few years ago, at the Harrison County Fair. There were a lot of old chevy's and a few ford's. And it took a long time to get a winner. Those old trucks are tough.
@23HAMSANDWICH different fairs have different rules on how to build it. if you jus want to be able to run one all you have to do is knock the windows out, weld the doors shut and put a gas tank inside. alot of people do a buttload of extra work to them though to make them tougher.
@coreytucker3 ok thank ya. i aint gonna enter one i was just thinking what kinda stuff has to be done beforehand. looks like alotta fun. also from watching one i seemed to notice that the womens competition had to happen after the mens competition. because the women didnt seem to care/notice what end of the car they used as a battering ram
the only thing that poor guy could do was close his eyes an HANG ON!!!!! lol

@23HAMSANDWICH One rule we have where I live is all trucks MUST be two-wheel-drive, no four-wheel-drive trucks are allowed.

@23HAMSANDWICH Most rules for trucks are 1/2 or 3/4 tons.

@tuned1221 i see. would a 1 ton have an advantage out there?
23HAMSANDWICH 8 months ago
@23HAMSANDWICH Yeah, heavier leafs and frame... Pretty much everything.
