Bullet w/tracer round??Not. Besides, someone would have to be flying to fire across the clouds like that. In slow motion, you can see the object actually changed to a lighter shade of green with a tint of yellow and white colorings. If videoing from the ground, that would suggest that it was a very large bullet..

A more likely explanation than a tracer round is that it's a firefly. It's clearly visible as a dark spot in front of the clouds before and after it lights up.

@Pithgist We don't have fire flies in Australia so I've never seen one. But if thats an insect, then thats one big ass bug, it's clearly further back than the trees or bushes in front of the camera. Like you said you can see it before it lights up against cloud.

I live in tulsa and i sat on the roof of my house and watched that.an the storm didnt move for hours .but it looked like it was building from the ground up and kept growing strait up.i didnt see the green rod. but i have seen red and green orbs chase each other. Probably Firefly. Also the camera is being held, why didn't the person filming make a point to react to the light if it was an object like a UFO. Without the right precautions, it is impossible to calculate distance on unknown objects in photography or video. Sorry anyone know likes to bunk/debunk as a hobby, but at least understand your subject matter, i.e. the limits on what information can be understood from photography and video due to the limits of both the technology and the human senses.
