It was just over shadowed by ps2's hype, (ps2 was also a great console don't think I'm saying otherwise) and sega being the jerks they are threw there toys out the pram before it had a real chance to take off. So it only lasted a few years. But in those years it brought a lot of advancements in gaming, such as being the first online console, and it had quite a few great games, for something that only lasted such a short time

Why do you think they refer to Full HD as "Full HD 1080p"? The "1080p" bit means 1080 pixels (1920x1080 resolution), as in there are 1080 horizontal lines being drawn onto the screen. Same goes for 720p (1280x720 resolution) - it means there 720 horizontal lines being drawn onto the screen.
