Name one reason why McCain is a good canidate? I can't find one! We may have different beliefs so things he stands for my be what you agree with. I'm curious because I can't find one good thing about the man. He's a jerk, sexist, indecisive and a nut bag in my opinion. But by all means I am no Obama lover either but I'd rather see Obama as president than McCain. I really don't want another war and McCain will bring one. There is NO doubt about that. Especially since we have 2 unfisnished.
As a non-American, my understanding of anyone who is still a Republican is that you must be incredibly gullible. I don't mean that in a hating way - it's just an observation. Do you know much about other countries? Likely you don't. I also notice that must Republicans are very clueless about other countries (Bush didn't have a Passport - neither did Palin - that's pathetic).
As a non-american american [wasn't born here but live here now LEGALLY] I definately agree with you. But nor am I a democrat either. I'm pro intelligence. :) Neither said really has much.
obama is gonna destroy the economy w/ his tax plan and other shit...and his war plan, extremely stupid. I read his book, and it was full of shit that he can't do as president. He WANTS to do things, but he CAN'T do them.
ok smart ass did u happen to listen for who he was gonna raise the taxes n y he wants to end the war??? i fu havent then go fuking listen to it again n then come bak n talk shit about him
oh n tyler i personally dont care about wat political party ur in i dont go for that i just go by who ever is better but yea good job dude n are u sik?
the top 5 percent. he wants to give some sort of tax break for around 95% of people. but lets no forget about the other 10 million types of taxes there are. dude, read his book. if you have and you still want to vote for him, I'd call you crazy, but i guess we all have our own way of looking at things
yea well dude ther aint much choice cuz as much as makcain says hes not gonna b like bush we all know its gonna b the same so is ither bush oooor the new guy
I'm so glad that I don't live in the USA when I see the whole mumbo-jumbo about the possible candidates...
Is it wise to be stuck to one party in a democratic system? Isn't democracy about people voting for the party that best fits their oppinions - about people deciding who they want to see in office and not voting for that guy that "their" party offers to them?
Since they can't deliver on the important fronts (and people in their hearts know this) they bring up domestic issues that they can change. ABORTION! GAY MARRIAGE! CREATIONISM! These are arguments that make people feel safe. Things they have control over. We can also fight about lipstick on pigs, and such. This election has been one of the most entertaining things that I have ever seen. The rank hypocrisy and blatant lies. Entertaining, yes...and scary.
No, terrorism will always exist. The "War on Terror" will never end. Much like the "War on Drugs" and "War on Poverty." National security is not an issue this election. Both parties want to do the same thing. Protect the country. The economy is not an issue this election. Both parties want economic prosperity for the country. On both of these issues, neither will be able to deliver. The more I pay attention to politics and the economy, the more I worry.
You think the war is over? You don't think that is an issue this election? I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. And Ron Paul is good and all, but he doesn't have a chance.
Oh, from your RNC vid, I thought you might be more likely to be Republican, but there wasn't much on there that really made it obvious.
My family was all Democrats, except for my grandma, who was the kindest, most caring & giving person I've ever known. When I was 10 years old I got interested in politics & though I don't agree with everything for the Reps I believed in them a lot more than the big government, love of immorality of the Dems. Finding that my grandma was too was a bonus!
Well, I'm one of them people what doesn't like the two-party system, because they both seem so similar. It looks like no matter who gets elected, they're going to ruin everything anyway. And I also don't think that being a POW would make someone an American hero, but that's just me.
By the way, not trying to be offensive with my words.
Also, as for the 10 minute thing, why haven't you applied for a director's account yet? That's what I did.
I should specify, what'd he do as a POW that was different from the many POWs that were stationed next to him? From what I understand he was one of the later prisoners brought in, and that the rough treatment ended shortly after his arrival.
They offered to let him go but he refused unless they let all of his men go. Despite what you think about his political views, he is an American hero.
Exactly! He was badly injured ejecting from his plane, then beaten & bayoneted when captured. Because his grandfather was a top admiral in WW2 & his father was a top admiral at the time the Vietnamese offered to release him before POWs who'd been there longer, because it would embarrass the US as they could say he received special treatment because of his father but he refused, so they nearly beat him to death!
I could of cared less for either

The evil that is McCain/Palin can be accurately summed up in two points:
* They want war in Iran.
* They think the protection of Israel is a biblical imperative.

mitt is sadly a what we call a "flipflopper", he met with activists in his state for gay-rights, and now is firmly against it.
another big-issue was abortion, he was constantly changin his view on pro-choice and then pro-life when running for president. cold hard facts.
thats not a solid stance.
and if Mormonism was any factor:
Utah has the highest divorce rate
highest suicide rate
in the country due to?
mormonism?

You are quite an optimistic person! Ha I don't honestly worry about politics at all. Why worry about something if nobody can change it?
PhyloFilms 3 years ago
Oh, you did not say why you are
for McCain. You have to be specific,
since the only thing the parties differ
on at this point is abortion and gays.
These are the only 2 issues that matter
anymore when an election comes around.
You know, what with the war on terror having
ended and the economy going zoom zoom!
Ohhh, I'm getting so bitter.
Oh, Ron Paul, what could have been.
