@ bushi, the practicality of the nunchaku, has to be determined, on a per individual basis, there are so many variants of todays nunchaku , from performing arts to leagues devoted to contact chucking. The mindset of each individual would determine the practicality of his or her usage and style.

hmmmm, i have to ask a question, you are aware that what your twirling around is basically a deadly weapon right, and that your middle lane techniques in a combat situaton wouldnt workk, putting both arms right in front of , practically together gives a skilled opponent a perfect opportununity to tie you up thus negating the effectiveness of the nunchaku,

THis is by far not a street skills since his movements are VERY controlled and sleek, im only 16 but im trying to get into martial arts. Im gonna get into tae kwon do because it is better than others in practical purposes, it teaches you to Round house kick like Chuck Norris.

Nunchucka, love your work. I'm currently learning it (and i'm a girl) as part of a weapons course. Takes lots of practice to get to that level! you make it look so easy! The flow and lines of the nunchuck is beautiful!
