the monsters frame of mind and eventually killed all his family and friends until finally killing him. You didnt include key aspects of the original novel, the only thing in common was the fact that he created a monster.

The film was well executed but you should have done some more research into the actual novel. Frankenstein never killed anyone to use them for his creation nor did he have a friend called Victor, Frankenstein's name was victor. You also forgot the main reason why he wanted to create life (his mother died when giving birth,he wanted to stop the whole birth process)nor did he want to "free anyone" the monster also was innocent at "birth" like all living things but Frankentseins rejection affected

Cool then, you did a really good job on the animation side of things, you made the movements look really life like and you used the lego really well. I suppose it was a good take on the whole playing God theme of Frankenstein though even if you weren't trying to recreate the novel.

@james10324 Victor Frankenstein's mother did not die giving birth. But you are correct to say that his motivation as a character to create the creature from dead, organic matter was to bring his mother, Caroline, back to life. His mother died from scarlet fever, which she caught from tending to Elizabeth while she was infected with it. Caroline's dying wish was to see Victor and Elizabeth joined in a holy union (marriage).

wow amazing lighting and effects! ive made a few lego movies when i was younger but none quite this good. check out my lego music vid if you have time. its made in school with crappy equipment though. which program did you use? and which camera? your walking cycle is nice. probably the best overall lego vid i have ever seen, actually. :) and thats saying alot. i plan on making a big lego movie next year and feel i could really use some tips and advice from you, if you could spare some. props!

This is a great movie. Although i do not find the material frightening, it had a very frightening feel to it. Very good animation and sound. Not too many effects but that was hardly needed for this movie. But the best but was the lighting. Truely amazing light. The music was brilliant too. 5/5 and in my playlist of the best lego Movies of all time.
