I listen to the LP version of this album every day. Unfortunately it is not mine, it will be very hard for me to give it back. I'm now 19 years old and wondering about what rubbish many people in my age listen to. I'm proud to be different :)

I still remember the great shock this song and the whole album gave to me when I heard it for the first time a long time ago... Now when I listen to it again, the emotion impact is intact. A pure jewel remains the same .....

@Nipeb Perfectly stated, Nipeb. At the time this album came out, it was unique and truly shocking in its beauty and heartfelt musical vision. And the vocal performance by Sally is astonishing. It is a pure piece of perfection. Even though I've moved through a lot of music since 1978, Waterbearer is one of the few albums from that period that still enraptures me as much as it did when it came out.
