  • I'm ordering a shirt from uptailor this week but I have one concern: How much should I add to the wrist measurement if I like to wear a watch? (I need the watch to fit under the cuff)

  • @SuperMattica - Good question. - You do not need to add additional length to the wrist measurements; with standard LUTES cuffs there is an extra button that allows the cuff diameter to be increased, thus creating room for a watch. - Thank you for the question. - Take a look at @upTailor on Twitters: Gentleman's Thoughts - Striving to be your best. And just to clarify: The only measurements you should add or remove length to is NECK and SHIRT LENGTH measurments.

    -

NECK: normally 2 fingers between the neck and tape, or you may use 3 fingers if you like a very loose collar.

    -

SHIRT LENGTH: Remove one inch from this measurement to make the shirt slightly shorter if you always wear it untucked, for a more casual look.

Thanks Alan! It's my first shirt- I'm going to try the Herring Bone in Egyptian Cotton.
