hey the worst thing is that i go to my local pc world pc store and i saw this and i just could not believe that the pc was in the monitor. yeh shows how little i go to these stores and keep up with tech news. the situation is really bad considering this is really 2 year old video. U know it is weird i normally am a nerd keep up 2 date i thought i did but i did not even know this came out weird. as i keep up 2 dateish. nice pc.

the hardware may be a bit old but you must think that this isnt a high end gaming notebook. i also bought a new dell studio 17 2 months ago and the hardware it has is a i7 720qm, ati mobility hd 4650, 4gb ram and a 500gb HD and 85wh battery. and this for almost 1000 euro. of course i can get a better desktop pc for 500 bucks but if you go to store the notebooks have even bader specs and they are even more expansive. dell is quite good at the prices

These things are pretty heavy, we had them at our University

Couple things, Vista Drivers are a bit iffy, the DVD drive is slot loading and the button to eject the DVD is lit up and the drivers for Vista (which we tested) weren't comptabible and didn't work with the touch sensor for the eject button

Why can't they just put laptop components, that would make this thing look a lot sleeker. Laptops are so slim now, they could cut down the fatty screen and have a really nice looking all in one rather than having a hideous one with speakers protruding from the sides.
