@zerkan112  just cds.. im afraid my decks suck ass lol .. gona invest in some pioneers in the future but even so i might still burn cds..maybe go usb stick i dont know.. i like the feeling of looking through my cd wallet when i mix..but it does take away time from mixing to pick and load a cd..plus burning cds is a huge pain

But pionneer is expansive as hell :O. but your equipment isnt that bad right? i personally keep it at virtual djing with cheap digital hardware like the Hercules mp3 e2 MIDI, i have that one :P it has everything i need but i have a dream of having 2 tabletops and a mixer too. only problem is that i want a knob for the tempo/pitch and every table top has a slidebar for that and that i hate.

Must say I love your equipment. I'm getting the grey set soon, but I'm skinning mine into DMC gold, and I'm using the M.203 mixer, also gold..

Gotta say the mix was on point. The only thing I'd have done a LITTLE differently is used a flanger to fade out of Du What You Du. I've been djing for 4 years and just recently started posting videos on youtube.

I'd also suggest you get a soundcard and timecodes. It makes life easier when instead of carrying a case of CD's you carry a laptop,

@schrock1 ya i tried to do the whole serato thing...just not my style im afraid..so i stick with wat i feel comfortable with..but cds are a pain in the ass .. even so i still like them..as far as a soundcard have any suggestions?I record my music with a yamaha audiogram 3 usb audio interface.the sound quality is awful and with me trying to make a legit demo to hand out to promoters and clubs the sound quality just kills the whole mix..want my mixtape to sound as good as profesional dj demos.

@jusdo1t I'd go with the Audio 4 DJ from Native Instruments. I just recently started using one, and it's pretty good. Artists like Carl Cox, and DJ Craze ( The DMC Champ) use Native Instrument gear, so there's gotta be some truth in advertising there.

I've tried pioneers(1000) and didn't like them as much as the c324(or my classic Technics 1200). One big feature they lack is the pitch bend, which helps beginners ALOT! Mixing this type of music is mixing 101, pretty hard to get it wrong....and all your "exaggerated" hand movements like throwing the volume knobs and constantly tweaking the EQs and gains, not necessary or cool. Makes you look like a typical newbie. Practice your quick mixing instead. Good mixing tho.

Guitar Center had them last November. I have the same 'digipak'.  They have the same thing now in RED....sweet. You can also get the color match powered KRK monitors...I recommend getting 'em. They look good and thump!
