Now, someone help me out here. If she died then, does that mean that she died a different way before? Cause, I mean, if Simon knew what was going to happen, wouldn't he have stopped that girl from dying in the first place so she wouldn't have came back as a ghost?

@LunarEclipse360 It's hard to say, but I don't think she died a different way before. As Simon said "It all has to happen exactly like it happened." I think he knew he couldn't change what happened, he just wanted more time with her. So they're stuck in a constant loop of her dying, him dying. In fact if he hadn't gone back, that would've saved him - though she probably would've died earlier when he dies. He brought her more time, but couldn't actually stop her from dying eventually.

@sparkfadingspark But remember the photo of them in Vegas? That hadn't happened yet. They say that when you change the past, the future is different. So when he returned the first time, he changed the past, but that didn't mean that it wasn't her fate to die, right? Ugh...this time travel stuff is confusing.

To be fair regarding the Vegas photo, there was a stretch of time between 2x06 and 2x07 that we didn't see, as well as one between 2x07 and 3x01 - they may have gotten to Vegas off-screen. It also might have been photoshopped by Simon - alot of fans have thought that it looks a bit too fake (which obviously it is, so whether it's intentional or not, who knows). Sadly we're never going to know one way or the other since they're gone for good. :(

@LunarEclipse360 I think that they all died, except Simon, when they got famous. Simon was always watching Alisha from the very beginning, I assume he was in love. After they all die, he becomes SH and finds his way back to save them all. Simon concocts the story of their relationship to get Alisha to listen to him, so he can stop them all from dying in the hotel. If they weren't in a relationship, he would not have been with the group. Fate is a fickle b**ch and Alisha is killed again.
