Michael Moore: US health bill 'disappointing'

Health Law ... No different from Social Security(actually an expansion of social security),and mandatory car insurance(so,I am sort of suspicious of the reason for certain states demanding a law suit). It actually protects and concentrates on a MORAL imperative for the aging section of our population. Overall,MORAL obligations versus Corporate entity! It's LAW! Nancy Pelosi's tweet congressional map should be looked at and compared with the Law(Bill). The Health insurance companies are wrong.

You know what universal healthcare is?

Teaching people the dangers of high-risk lifestyles, and then promoting responsible decision-making in diets.

No government regulation necessary.

And there is a growing "target group" of consumers that an industry as I describe could create jobs, goods and services for.

I think the bill is easy to understand

1. the bill=money

2.blowing up twin towers=money, create false war on terror..wtc building 7-take a look.

Look it really simple anything they do is for profit-power !!!!!

oMichael made a point on the show that if people would eat right there would be no expense at all. This is in keeping with my over 38 years of clinical experience. I tried many times to get the attention of congressmen, senators, anyone in government who wiould listen. It's just a matter of eating all raw or mostly raw natural foods. You never see or hear this on TV because the media is controlled by by money from ads from Big Pharma and Food, Inc.

I am one who benefits by this bill as imperfect as it is. My company (consisting of my wife and I) hasbeen paying to BCBS over $20,000 per year for our policy. My wife just turned 65 so she is off the policy and we no longer qualify for our "group" so my insurance is now cancelled. I was just diagnosed with a spot on my lung. Now I can't be denied insurance so fuck all the insurance companies like BCBS who took over $100,000 of my money over the last 5 years!

@lewisbaymanlewis I believe his complaining is necessary. He is able to make his voice heard in one of the largest democracies in the world and for that, he holds a powerful position. It is important to challenge every decision made by a government - after all, that is the essence of politics. It is always necessary to do more.

Mr. Moore is simply doing what the governments opposition should be doing - challenging decisions and asking the important questions. That IS a positive contribution! :)

(genuine answer) Michael Moore has made a boatload of contributions. I don't know his very early work, but Farenheit 911 was dy-no-mite! It exposed Bush for the slacker he was. It came at a time when critics of Bush were being pushed off of the airways everywhere (see Donahue). Sicko exposed the h/c industry. Capitalism exposes how tptb have destroyed the economy for most Americans.

And he's not from tinsletown at all, just a regular joe with an opinion.
