@zotzklof - It's New Years Eve 1999 - he sings the biggest songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 90s (misses out the 80s cause it's Frankie's Relax) - this is the one from the 70s - it's not a bad version at all - bit much to say it's pathetic!

He does better with the stanza portions than Garfunkel did. I always thought Garfunkel was challenging the lower part of his range when singing the stanzas of this track. Good job. Not 5 stars, but still very, very good.

I certainly respect your right to your opinion, but I couldn't disagree with it any more than I do! Art's singing of this goes beyond just the singing itself (although he does it perfectly to me), but he FEELS the song and EMOTES it like no one else I've ever heard sing it. This is my #1 fave song of all time and has been for many years, so I don't say this lightly.
