Well about what someone said that they are changing the name or reviving USAAF. Well I am an an Air Force Cadet in college to become a security force officer. And earlier this year they were very, very close to changing the name from United States Air and Space expeditionary force. Which now they're saying in the next five years this will happen again having a debate on changing it.

@megadog200 i have alot of friends in the army and the usaf and all 9 told me it will be put into effect latter this year or early next year the army has more air vehicles then the navy and usaf

@ww2guy100 And you realize that statement is untrue right ? The army doesn't use airplanes anymore, they use helicopters and they do not have more air vehicles than the Navy and the Air Force. I happen to volunteer in a military museum which is located on a military base, they will tell you anything and you believe it, but the Army Air Forces is not being resurrected. The Army doesn't control the Air Force, they lost that when the Air Force became a separate branch.

@Boolarama , Might want to study up on it (or simply search the internet) 'Wild Blue Yonder' has been the Official song since the days of the Army Air Corps. 'US Air Force Blue' was written almost 20 years after and was only in favor during the 60's and 70's but never became the official song.

This means a lot to me. Hopefully I'll be in the Air Force soon, following the steps my great grandfather took. He served during WWII and Vietnam. Even though he served WWII in the Navy, and then switched to the Air Force, he made it to Senior Master Sergeant before he retired. He is my hero.
