    Anyways, I didn't think you could record audio on those things. lol

  • @Geno2733 Yep. All EAS encoders have 2 minutes of audio storage to record the emergency message from the issuing station.

    This particular unit has an additional 40 seconds of non-volatile audio storage, as part of the cable TV package.

    I didn't issue this test... this is a unit that I have on the bench at home. I work for an LP-1 station in NYC, though.
