I agree. The ONLY good thing that Nawaz Shareef has done for this country is this Motorway. In his quest to be remembered and honoured as the Sher Shah Suri of the 20th Century, he, unwittingly gave us this project.
What a lovely road that is. I always love to travel on it. Perhaps the best ever project in Pakistan's history. Thank you Mian Nawaz Sharif for giving this nation a great gift and making us first nation in South Asia to have such a marvelous Motorway.

They definitely have highly efficient highway patrol known as Motorway police. In 2005, while travelling on M2 from Islamabad, I inadvertently went over the speed limit. It wasn't too long before a patrol caught me on the speed camera. I received a speeding fine and had to pay this when I exited the motorway through toll collection point.
these motorways are better than the highways here in Saudi Arabia
