  • wait plz answer this, will it erase all the trash? or like everything on the macbook??

  • @666therapboy It will erase everything that you have ever put into trash.

  • Thanks again, I'll try

  • Thank you for nice tutorial, but I have a question, how about other files that you did not send to trash. Does it remain when you choose Zero Out Delete Files?, sorry I am new in macbook, so I am waiting for your reply. Thanks

  • @ssssmmmss whatever files you have deleted will be removed completely, if you never deleted a file it will still remain.

  • does this secure delete safari's history as I assume reset does nothing, or not to do with Safari history. Is it safe to do if there's a lot of other work on mac SL?

  • @KellySHarris reset delete's safari history for good. The caches/cookies don't always get fully deleted tho so that's where clean my mac comes in handy.

As long as whatever you need hasn't been deleted this is completely safe.

  • i am doing whipe free disk space with ccleaner . why is my disk space getting lower

  • @iwanabemw2 When you erase free space it makes a files filled with 0 and 1 till it uses all the available HD space.

  • i have i virus on my mac will this remove the virus please help!

  • @actfiver No. You would need to reformat the hard drive.

  • @LandOfTech how do i do that?

  • @actfiver best way is to google it since you can see the large amount of article that tell you how to do it.

  • i cant see this video because i can't download the flash player. I've been working for days trying to free up space. I have deleted so many things. but when I go to download the flash player, it continues to say 0 kb available. please help me....<3

  • @TheCherieFay hmmm. Mac or PC?

  • i m in the midst of doing it but when it got down to around 215 mb it said "you need to free up space" or something like that. Now there is no countdown and it is just saying "creating temporary file." Is this normal what should I do?

  • @davidmorefield completely normal! :)

  • I don't get it. What's the point of erasing your free space. Isn't it the more space free the better?? I'm confused.

  • @LichKingSlay When you normally delete on your mac the data is still there. When you erase free data you completely remove that so it can't be recovered.

  • @LandOfTech ok I tried it. Here's what happened: A file kept growing larger and larger until it took up all my space. After that, the file disappeared and all the space returned to me. Is that right?

  • @LichKingSlay yep thats normal.

  • @LandOfTech one more thing. Do I have to wipe it right after deletion? Or can I do it anytime I want? Please Reply. I'm still a bit new to this stuff, lol.

  • @LandOfTech i accidentally pressed erase free space on my mac whats the easiest way to restore without installing leopard again

  • @MelodiComposer373 your data isn't deleted. the only way would be to reformat the hard drive.

  • Good job!

  • @iHeartApple2 thank you (e)IHA2 lol.

  • doesnt app cleaner help out Anyways Nice Job Rico

  • @daveofnhspeaks no. when you delete any files like a picture. it can be recovered unless you secure delete or erase the blocks (what i showed)
