  • if the controlled the negatives on their chins and pull ups they would be able to do more reps after sticking with it. they are only doing the positive and then falling back down which is doing nothing for their muscles. you have to control the negatives to actually breakdown the muscle. you dont break down the muscle on the positive parts of the lift
