you're right, i learned the Yang tai chi form with master Yang Jun and his fellow teahchers. This is not the Yang style. Could be the 4 others tai chi style : Wu, Chen, Sun or Wu (how)
@athye17 actually it is Yang Style, but not the famous Simplified Standard 24 Movement form. This is the first part of the original Yang Tradional Style form.
@lebarosky What is it then? I am a student. What style do you think it is? It clearly is not Chen. It is much "larger" in the movements than Wu. It lacks the details added to the form by Sung. So what do you think it is? Best regards!
this is horrible, another guy tagging the Yang name when obviously this doesn't even come close...take a look at any direct lineage schools of Yang Sau Chueng's line and you'll see nothing of this sort, it's another attempt to rip people's money.
there are many variations on the schools. I am nowhere near as graceful, but they are useing a different set of movements. I use the 105 movement set, though im only up to i think 30 of the movements.
yes - as in "playing the lute/guitar where you have your weight completely on one foot and the other is just "resting" on the heel or on the ball of the foot as in "white crane spreads its wings. No weight on it simply means empty step. Hope this helps
No, it isn't Yang Style. Some movement seems like, some are pure invention of the practitionner (perhaps Wu or Sun).

@jofe07 Correct. Sifu Lam often refers to the Yang Tai Chi he learned as "Old Yang".

@athye17 this is clearly Yang Large Frame I do not understand why you think otherwise.

@lebarosky I think otherwise because, as microcosmic2, i was bless to learned tai chi from master Yang Jun and one of his best friend and teacher.
