me and my brothers played this WAY too much. well this and mario party 4... and Rogue Squadron 3. btw why the hell does people not like Rogue Squadron 3 as much as they like the 2nd one? the 3rd one has multiplayer and you can play through the whole 2nd game in coop too. it's just as good but with more awesomeness. oh wait. why am i even saying this here? whatever... well bye :)
wow, this game brings back memories. I once challenged the COM on the highest difficulty setting to 9-ball, best of 15. It was very epic; I would break and run-out, he would break and run-out, a mistake meant the other guy would win the rack. It came down to the last game and I barely pulled it out. Easily my favorite mini-game in SMB2
@venescas I wish I had tried this, back when I had the game. If I ever get my hands on SMB2 again, I definitely am gonna try what you did. And odd I never tried it, since it was also my fav mini game.
Though Monkey Target 2 comes in a very close 2nd to Billards 2...
@venescas yeah, speaking of winning of an opponent's mistake, in 8 Ball you have to sink the 8 ball, the 8 has to go in by it's self, the cue ball can't go in to, that's the suckish part of shooting at the 8.

Wow, great playing. Real life or video games, it's next to impossible to run the table in a game of pool.
For those that don't know, there are only two kinds of people that can do that in real life. 1) Professionals that make TV and 2) VERY VERY VERY few others.
The point wasn't to show the computer being beaten on the lowest difficulty, it was to show the game being won from the break off without the computer ever getting a shot at the table.

Yeah I'm not sure what the guy that said no one can run a pool table is saying.
As long as you can make decent shots (just basic reliable shots) you can run the table if you are playing someone worse than you.
Some nights when I'm on I can "run" a table, but I also know a dozen people that could handle me the same way.
A lot of pool is how the break leaves you - pros make it look easy because they set up every shot to be in line and sequential.

Ah - if by RUN you mean make all shots before your opponent can take turn, then I do agree that is very very difficult.

its not that hard, its the way i play pool every time. line up where the cue hits the ball, to be straight in with the pocket and you wont miss one.

what the hell? This is a simple game, it even tells you where your cue is going to go. It's actually very hard NOT to lose at monkey ball pool.

You know, you could have just held the X button. Unless, you have a turbo controller (which would explain the ultra fast beginning).
