  • Well there you go hey, I loved this series back in the mid 80's but when I clicked on this episode I was unaware that I had already seen it over 25 years ago when he arrived at the old mans house for threatment. A huge nostalgia hit! ;)

  • My Grandfather used to fish with those and man they are nasty things and bite.

  • a funnier conclusion would be if he started the tobacco bug treatment

  • sweet mother of god, no wonder there are so much alcoholics

  • I think there is a short story this may be based on where the "cure" is more mafia style... First time you drink they break a bone, eventually they kill you.

  • @multilis2 Actually, that was a Stephen King short story.

  • smoking is his next problem

  • DAMN...how much money does he spend on drinking. Where I am each glass would be 8 bucks.

  • @stoic8578 this was 25 years ago

  • very beautiful episode. everything can be learned in a twilight zone episode

  • he looks like andre villas-boas haha

  • LOVE this episode. Been looking for it since this first aired!

  • My bf needs one of these

  • My not

  • Start taking heroin instead

  • He could've surgically just have the worm removed. . . . IJS.

  • @cedes23337 The Annelidus Hellgrammus secretes a lethal toxin when it is damaged or threatened.

  • Ahh. And the Youtube debates rage ever onward!

  • wait untill people are willing to say tv,pc,videogames, and the cell phone apps are more addicting then drinking...

honestly how easy can you stop doing the one of them things i just said, that you use every day and (ARE) addicted to..

no worries im on a pc right now,but its still a good point..

  • drink bad, smoke good... lol

  • He should just give himself mild food poisoning, then he'll need a stomach pump and BLEEEUUUUPP!

  • Aha!..the Matrix stole the belly button hellgrammite from TW2!

  • I am loving this! I remember the twilight zone in the 80s...omg I have been wanting to watch these episodes...awesome

  • You two are hilarious. Fighting over an episode of The Twilight Zone, of all things. I think at least you can both agree that this was a good episode.

  • Been there!

  • The ending was so "misery loves company." Also, that bartender was kind of a jerk.

  • @VicShowZ9 No his not you dumb ass...

  • @UnderDog988 You seem like a troll (childish name calling and all), so I'll say this and nothing more to you: The bartender finds out the guy is off alcohol after seeing him at his worst and immediately tries to give him a freebie. If that's not being a jerk, like a drug dealer, then I don't know what is.

  • @VicShowZ9 Wow realy... your fucking dumb when he had problem the bartender told him to go home when he was cured the bartender offered him a drink... I dont know wat kind of fucking world your head is floating in but you definilty didnt watch the same show as me.

  • @UnderDog988 The bartender represented the outside world. People who are not alcoholics do not realise what it is like to be an alcoholic. This bartender assumed that since he had been of the piss a few months and was back in a bar, he intended to drink. Many non-alcoholics don't understand this. I mean, to a non-alcoholic, been offered a drink is a good gesture. It probably was in effect. Point taken though. He was obviously an alcoholic, drinking to excess every day (even on workdays)

  • @aps030589 Why would someone come into a bar and not drink it normal for a bartender to ask someone wat are you having?

Also it not about being alcoholic it about being addicted, people who dont have an eating disorders ( to much or not enough ) dont know wat it like. Same goes for pills, drugs, shopping or pretty much anything.

These thing give your brain a good feeling and when you stop your brain want to feeling back.

  • One of the better episodes I've seen.

  • Thanks for posting this solid episode of the Twilight Zone.

  • i watch this episode when i was 9 or something and agreed it's really one of the best story.

  • One of the better episodes of this season, though I was hoping for something more exciting at the end. Thanks!
