Wow! I was reading some of the posts on here, what is wrong with some of you people?!? Its not lazy! I have 3 cats, 2 kids, a dog and horses and dont have time to clean a litter box all the time! Its not hard to clean a litter box, but some people have this thing called a life and dont want to spend it cleaning cat shit! I think your all just jealous that you can't afford one, get a job, get a life and quit your bitching! Damn! People are so negative these days!
How lazy can you 'cat genie' / 'cat robot' people be!!? I mean COME ON! Cleaning the cat box is the simplest thing to do! I clean my cat's box twice a day so our house never smells like cats and we don't have to have huge contraption sitting around dedicated to crapping cats! This is ridiculous! Lots of lazy cat owners( you can tell by the smell in their house!) so I'm sure this will sell well! Why not buy an electric nose picker while you are at it!? or a battery operated Fart Filter? $19.99!!
just take 30 seconds and scoop clumping litter once a day and I will show you an available bathroom and a person with a few extra hundred dollars. litter lasts me at least 2 months if I don't forget more than 2-3 days with one cat. This is just laziness and waste of water. The electricity and the void of the human usage of the space alone is just sickening. Take care of you pets! I suppose your kids would still be in dipers if YOU had a machine to change them!

This cracks me up. So much more work for "lazy" humans who won't toilet train a cat. Works so well, kits cost about $15 Fun and excitement for cat though!

It has electric eyes, it won't start while they are in it and if they jump in it stops, but I haven't actually seen it work, my cats are not that stupid :-)

Goldenrod636, the catgenie uses washable granules, and not regular cat litter that biodegrades in the sewer system in 9 months.
You save on cat litter.
