  • Your Comcast ordeal reminds me of my Verizon Wireless ordeal. My husband had 3 cell phones with them. He had a stroke and could no longer speak so I asked Verizon to drop one of his phones. They told me I couldn't alter his account, my husband would have to call them to do it. I repeatedly told them he couldn't speak but they wouldn't budge. On top of that, since his phone was no longer being used, they called me several times saying they noticed a lot of minutes were being wasted

  • and wanted me to switch to another plan (which would have extended the contract). They would let ME do that but they wouldn't let ME drop one phone. I didn't fall for it. When the contract ran out, all three phones were dropped and I'll NEVER do business with them again.

Good job on the Comcast video. It just goes to show you one person can make a difference.

  • At least you dropped them. That is what people need to start doing. If the company treats you like garbage, drop them and tell everyone you know.

  • WTF!? Don't these companies just have a knack for making a difficult or stressful times that much more difficult and stressful? Sometimes I wonder if the people I am talking to on the phone are actually really people with a brain, and a conscience and all that good stuff.
