  • That is just an ignorant comment. Theo was an amazing player who let is personal life bring his demons out.

  • he's gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

  • CRACKHEAD THEO!!!

  • @mrceebees14 read his book before you make a comment like that you fucking idiot

  • @CarvDarv I did numb nuts, got it when it first came out.

He is still a crackhead bitch.

  • Theo Fleury deserved to make the team. Heck, he would of had a 50 point season. Shows how respectful the Calgary Flames are.

  • should of made it

  • I don't smoke weed, or have any drinking problems? I just like what he did on the ice, he helped win a cup for the city, he may not be a genius but he's famous never the less.

  • @penney1414 sure he was famous ...until 2003 when he retired. I dont hear much from Roy, Messier or Sakic anymore (who were all far superior to Theo & retired). I'm not faulting Theo for writing the book, I just find it was missing an important condradiction about hooking up with G James in 1995. Also I find his comback attempt the same month as his book came out suspcious. Why didn't he plan a comeback earlier before he turned 40? - c'mon, he knew he wasnt making the team.

  • Fuck his personal life the guy was a beast on the ice. He paved the way for all the kids who looked up to him. I still wear number 14 because of the guy. Look everyone has problems, imagine if all your mistakes were in the public eye. Who hasn't had to many drinks, or had a puff from time to time. The guys a hero to hockey players and recovering addicts everywhere.

  • @penney1414 yeah but I'm not drinking, puffing & reuniting with the guy who molested me (okay, i do once in a while) -but not while my old team mate &

tag team partner is quitting hockey after a few years to concentrate on helping other victims. ...Once again, in 1995 Sheldon Kennedy came out with allegations didn't mention Theo. At this same time, Theo was back with Graham James, this time business & not pleasure (although that would be hot), when they bought the Calgary Hitmen together.

  • @bpuhal I dont give a shit about that, I just care about what the guy put on the ice, fuck his personal shit.

  • @penney1414 but you said he was a hero to recovering addicts - that's personal shit. & in case you forgot ...Theo had someone write a book for him mentioning his personal shit. He brought it to the media ...no one knew Theo was abused until he mentioned it & wrote a book. He also did a zillion interviews about it, it was his way of getting it off his chest like Sheldon did in '95 when he cleaned up.

  • @penney1414 Ever wonder why sports has so many geniuses and heroes? ha ha ha. I get the weak need a leader.

  • @penney1414 Typical reply from a 'puffer'. Life must be great for you to have 'heros' that swing a bat, throw a ball, or carry a hockey stick. I agree...he did pave the way for other smaller kids to play hockey and that is great. Hey, Theo is not a drooling animal. He is just a goof on a few levels and got caught being in the public eye...but he knew he was in the public eye. Peace and good on you if you are on your own road to recovery. Keep up or get eaten. Teasing Wink ; )

  • bye theoren, you wern't much fun for vancouver, good for you, we will get our cup this year

  • @MrBarelylethal Care to bet?

  • @swassontelus anytime

  • @MrBarelylethal I re-read your bet. Win the Cup? Ha ha. I will take that bet. You are a 16 to 1 underdog in this league of parody. I will give you 10 to 1 odds. If they win...you get 10x the bet. The bet is a stubby of home brew beer. One beer. Or a bucket of chicken...one bucket. A good Canadian bet.

  • @swassontelus Cool. I heard on Flames Radio that Vancouver is a favourite. I don't get to watch Vancouver that much. Give me one game to watch. Is that good? I can usually tell. As a Flames fan....I have bet a loonie based on their first game of the season whether they make the playoffs or not. I bet the last 2 seasons that they wouldn't make the playoffs in either. I was right last year and 2 years ago, I was wrong (by only 2 points). So...will you give me that?

  • This is funny. Each and every word is funny (the media). Hey, Theo is Theo...and that is fine....but the words out of the media is hilarious. Especially the guy to the far left. He is hoping his concrete company can get the contract to pave the front steps to the new addiction centre opening soon in Calgary..

  • @swassontelus ..........only Theo has no clue where the new centre is!!

  • @bpuhal ha ha ha.

  • I think it's great that he's going to help others....you can really help others when you know what they're going through....

  • I agree with you (of course) about the message...and I guess profit is not a dirty word.

But.......Fleury hired G.James for the Hitmen hockey team a few years ago. He basically put others at risk. Sometimes, it is the little things that tell so much about a person.

  • Yes, this did confuse me also but I can understand the hold a sick man like G. James can have on a person. No excuses..going into business with the man was a poor decision by Theo and it is one that he will have to live with for the rest of his life. No telling how many lives were shattered because of that poor decision. Hard to pass judgement though when you're not in those shoes.

  • @beebsaleaf I agree with you. Those must be confusing times for him. Its always simple and clear when holding a rum, middle aged and having the benefit of hindsight (no pun intended). Peace.

  • @swassontelus Got a few issues of your own don't you swassontelus?

  • The other day I overheard my sandwich talking to my pet rock saying some folks have more issues than others. : ) Peace.

  • I meant no disprespect..I just get a little ticked with people who hide behind their keyboard and think it's so easy to bash someone else. Perhaps I did a bit of the same. Cheers...

  • Cheers back at ya...and I agree that some folks do that. But, I bash myself in the turnip head quite often, so goofing on YouTube is good fun and a good break from bustin' my own balls.

  • @beebsaleaf No disrespect made to you, but you look like a makeup worshipper. Sometimes rants on youtube may come across as being 'negative', but this is a public forum based on a public figure. Remember, there are many professional athletes who don't desire the limelight. Anyhoo...women tend to think public rants are personal or mean. I am a very honest and kind. I care for the environment and 'call out' BS that is presented in public. Peace to you. No issues here.

  • ha ha ha....

    She says...."He's earned that reputation"....

    ha ha ha ha ha....Classic.
