i put water and its adequate for what i do...plus it seems to be easier if you need to relocate it....water seemed easier to use and dump/then refill. although sand will not break the bank, it's just more tedious to fill.

i also liked your idea of putting it up on a chair. i didn't have a useable chair so i put mine on top of an extra 15" tire i had (no riim). that helps w/ a little of my sound absorption. it's not a heavy bag but it's something to hit. :D

Get rid of that reflex bag and get a double end bag instead. My reflex bag broke on me twice plus the double end bag is harder to hit than that slow ass reflex bag and it offers the same benefits but better cuz when you think about it your opponents not gonna be moving his head that slow and let u hit him. But you have a good stance/guard and good punching technique.

Can't tell if ur orthadox or sp, u jab a lot with ur right but you come out of stance often. Dunno if ur training for boxing or just working out, lot of good tips here either way, elbows in, stay in your stance, hands up especially when throwing punches. hey brother yeah good idea putting it in the chair for the quick return. if i may throw out two things for ya to think about: when you throw your right-you elbow flares way out (hinting that the right is on its way) and also: after you throw the right-its usually drops to your waist before returning to your chin (ya, it loks cool, like ali-but if you dont learn to bring it straight back to your chin-youre gonna get countered all day-as soon as youre against a guy that dowsnt suck) peace!

Dude you really need to work on your jab. Every time you throw it, look and see how your elbow swings out. That motion will give a skilled opponent time to sway your jab and counter. Which could have some bad results.

I just got the title pro reflex bag and it's good. This video helped me with tryin' some ways to punch it because I'm new to this stuff. He set it up in the chair because the spring on a true reflex bag should be in the middle of the shaft NOT AT THE BOTTOM. Everlast didn't do their homework on this product...However it's excellent for beginners or just a cardio work out but not for serious boxers

@drummer4life54 Hand wraps, you should find them in the same place you got your reflex bag, around the gloves. They come wrapped into one cylindrical roll. Red, white and black are the only colors I've seen in Everlast.

it got loose then fell. i still use it. the spring screws in so if you dont tighten it every once in awhile itll get loose. i say its a good buy. if you keep it short and put on something like i did itll move quick.
