  • crying definitley wont help

  • OMG that chick is such a whiner. What would she do if she was sent to the middle east. Canada should be a little more stringent like the Americans during training exercises

  • @Shanon576 This is nothing like the real thing, it's censored to hell and back. The Canadian Forces are trained to the same level as the US Marines, possibly better. I showed an episode of this to a guy I know in the air force, he couldn't stop laughing :P.

  • 7:11

The most anticipated part of the series/recruit course, Weremko finally waking up, and realizing reg-force means business. She wasn't a teenager at the beginning of the course, but she was still holding onto a less than mature attitude until that point, the ruck march.

  • Someone likes Vietnam movies.

  • This is a very immature question but, after basic training if i have some accessories for the AR-15, am I able to have them mailed in to use (Tapco, Magpul)? I've seen videos of CF members in Afghanistan with weapon mods so im just wondering.

  • @k2mkfw It varies depending on the circumstance. Please speak to your superiors for more advice.

  • @k2mkfw its not a AR-15 its a C7 or C8 assault rifle

  • @k2mkfw AR-15 atachments may not work with the C7 and C8 rifles but you can get mods aslong as they are athorized

  • @k2mkfw I believe that during training, no. but in the field you can bring personal stuff on yu9r weapon, but i am telling you, what they give you there is the best gear u can get EVER.

  • The Quebec accent is funny.

  • So there is no seperate branch training?, All Services undergo the same training toghether? That's intresting..And on the road march why are they bunched up? give at least five meters apart.

Hang in there young lady its only 12 K, you can do it!

  • @Paladin1441 All who wish the join the CF must complete the basic training regardless of the position. Specialized training for particular positions occurs after the completion of basic training.

  • How much would full cargo weigh approx?

  • why are they crying i thought they were soldiers in the US army they do this everyday im not saying i can do what they do but just wondering shouldnt they be more tough not trying to be mean

  • @papapap7 This is just a recruitment video, the real deal is a hell of a lot harder than this.

  • how much do they carry?

  • @ThatKidFromVancouver 40 pounds

  • why are all there code words named after movies??

  • @placehood There is no specific strategy when selecting code words. They are related only to whatever their creator considered would be secure under the specific circumstances of their use.

  • @placehood

Completely up to the CO, once had all our code words and objects named after planets from star wars

  • the wrong tape...her feet were fine. its the army not camp

  • 12KM? Come to the US.. You'll do that every day of BRM!

  • @maximinimal I guarantee that our soldiers will out last yours in every single endevour they pursue. At Wargames our regular infantry beat your Navy seals & Army Rangers......every year. Don't go from what you see here. This isn't even close to the real thing.

  • what a nice day to do a bft

  • @fusionhitman

this is an old comment, but im 90% sure that they are using BFA's with blank rounds

  • @ZackyChann 100% sure on my part.

  • are the instructors always soft like this? They seem to kinda baby our soldiers, no? :s

  • @scorpion068 it is not even close to this. This is a censored, public relations type of basic made to look diff from the real thing.

  • @scorpion068 no they are not. its just for the camera.

  • @scorpion068 Search up PO robinson then.

  • @scorpion068 this is a very polished verion of what actualy happens so as not to scare people away

  • @scorpion068 Believe me they can be hardasses when they have to be. But psychologically it's easier to teach students that don't hate your guts. You actually aren't allowed to be "friends" with the instructors per sey.

  • @scorpion068 maybe because of this "babying" when they are in an emotional state helps them rather than pushing them to their worst which can possibly lead to hatred or suicide.

  • I did this in cadets, its hard ass on your back, like, 20-30 pounds, but i heard these ones were 110+ pounds?

  • I did the 13k in farnham week 9 with a broken waist strap and still made it through. It's not that hard if you just block out the pain from your mind.

  • thats true mind over matter

  • my husban left on that same day..

  • its Oorah!

  • we dont say that.

  • @TheDussnax It's HUA (Heard, Understood, Acknowledged)

  • I just did part of basic up at RMC this summer, and supposedly we have to redo it at the mega again, How different is BMOQ from BMQ?

  • The two courses are essentially the same, but BMOQ obviously has a greater emphasis on leadership.

During your last two weeks of training you will actually have to plan for and lead your section on a mission.

  • Whats A Mile?

  • 1600M

  • i go to basic Aug 2

  • 13k is alot but if you look back in history they used to walk 20-30k a day.

  • Alot less gear though

  • it is 20k dont u c it says

    13k

    7k to go

  • yeah its 13 total and theyve done 6 and therefore have 7 to go.

  • i think he means leaders are born in the military. they step up so to speak

  • leaders are born? what?

negative, leaders are made, not born.

  • amen

  • damn no type of singing during the walk

  • Lol. Of course not, Firstly Field=Quiet, secondly I remember my winter indoc, we did the same thing in artic gear except it was 10k. But we also had artic clothing, were wearing snowshoes and those god awful mukluks, and lastly we were pulling our sleds of course with all of our tents and water etc. xD Fun times fun times :)

  • I dont understand, is this simunition? paint Rounds? what are they shooting to indicate a hit?

  • yea i knew that but i got a lil confused from what u said, another thing, warmth?....of course im gonna be cold sometimes but they dont make u freeze ur ass off while ur sleepin n u get dressed properly for the cold right?

  • so in BMQ they take consideration of what ur trade is gonna be?......like BMQ isnt the exact same for every person? (but still generally the same thing obviously)

  • how much do the packs weigh?

  • When you complete everything to be giving the go ahead, when does this training start? like winter, summer, both?

Or is there a wait time?

  • "makes them look cool right" ohh these PO's are awesome. hopfully they are so when i go for my BMQ

  • Easy day, breath in and out. Say to your self this isn't going to happen forver. Soon it'll be over and you've completed your objective. Those who complain are weak.

  • you were there??

  • @regretfulflyerxxx lolol, i think that's like the best advice, "Think to yourself, this in't going to happen forever" best advice ever......

  • @regretfulflyerxxx guess you never served with an Infantry unit before hahaha! We complain all the time, about the food, weather, stuff like that
